Sporting KC y Children’s Mercy fundan asociación

El 19 de noviembre Sporting Kansas City y el hospital de Children’s Mercy inauguraron un asociación de 10 años que empezará la primavera del 2016.
La asociación esta diseñada para “promover la salud y el fitness en las escuelas y proporcionar medicina especializada en deportes al mercado de atletas juveniles que ha experimentado un aumento en lesiones relacionadas con el deporte,” según un comunicado de prensa. La asociación se centrará en tres áreas: apoyo a la comunidad; educar y proteger a los niños, padres y entrenadores; y promover el acceso a la medicina deportiva – entrenadores pediátricos.
“La asociación con Children’s Mercy para impactar la salud de los jóvenes se alinea perfectamente con nuestra misión en el Sporting Kansas City, “ dijo Cliff Illig, principal propietario de Sporting Kansas City, en un comunicado de prensa del equipo . “Los niños más saludables conducen a comunidades saludables – y estamos encantados de que el estadio tendrá el nombre de Children’s Mercy para que trabajemos juntos y prevenir las lesiones deportivas pediátricas.”
Según un comunicado de prensa, el estadio de Sporting (Sporting Park), el centro de entrenamiento (Swope Soccer Village) y el campo de campeonato tendrán un nombre junto con Children’s Mercy Park.

Sporting KC and Children’s Mercy to launch partnership in 2016

On Nov. 19, Sporting Kansas City and Children’s Mercy Hospital inaugurated a 10-year-long partnership that will launch in the spring of 2016.
The partnership is designed to “promote health and fitness among schools and provide specialized sports medicine to a youth athlete market that has experienced a substantial increase in sports-related injuries,” according to a press release. It’ll focus on three areas: community support; educating and protecting children, parents and coaches; and developing access to pediatric-trained sports medicine.
“Partnering with Children’s Mercy to impact youth health and fitness aligns perfectly with our mission at Sporting Kansas City,” said Cliff Illig, principal owner of Sporting Kansas City, in a team news release. “Healthier kids lead to healthier communities – and we’re thrilled that the stadium will bear the Children’s Mercy name as we work together to prevent pediatric sports injuries.”
According to the news release, Sporting’s stadium (Sporting Park), training center (Swope Soccer Village) and championship field will have joint names with Children’s Mercy Park.
