Paris sufre ataque terrorista

Paris-1

On Wednesday (Jan. 7), several men dressed in black entered a French satirical magazine known for publishing cartoons of the prophet Mohammed and started shooting, killing 12 people.

According to news reports, the terrorists entered the magazine saying, “God is great!” and suddenly started firing. They then said: “We have avenged the prophet.”

“Time and again, the French people have stood up for the universal values that generations of our people have defended,” Obama said during a speech televised on CNN. “France and the great city of Paris, where this outrageous attack took place, offer the world a timeless example that will endure well beyond the hateful vision of these killers.”

As a way of supporting support, the United States has reinforced security around the French Consulate in New York City.
