El pasado Domingo (5 de Diciembre) fue un día largo e intenso para los Venezolanos.
En este día, ellos esperaban ansiosamente los resultados de las elecciones de la asamblea nacional. Aunque la oposición ya aseguraba desde temprano una gran victoria, todavía los números oficiales no se daban a conocer. La gente tenía miedo, miedo que una vez más la decisión de la mayoría no se respetada por el corrupto gobierno actual.
Afortunadamente, la historia no se repitió.
Después de 12 años de gobierno, el movimiento organizado por el difunto Hugo Chavez ha recibido una derrota una derrota muy importante, que para muchos, define el comienzo del final.
Los venezolanos se hicieron escuchar: No más de lo mismo, dijeron. Los venezolanos están tan listos como los argentinos, quienes recientemente eligieron como sucesor de Cristina Kirchner al opositor Mauricio Macri.
La oposición al gobierno de Maduro ha logrado lo que fue imposible por mucho tiempo. La Mesa de La unidad, organización que representa a los partidos opositores, celebro las elecciones y la clasifico de ser el comienzo de una nueva Venezuela.

Tenemos que salvar a Venezuela, dijo Henrique Capriles, quien fue una figura principal en la organización de la oposición.
Este es el comienzo de un largo viaje. El impacto negativo de los gobiernos de Chávez y Maduro en Venezuela no puede ser revertido con una simple elección. Es tiempo que aquellos que todavía no se animaron a unirse a esta revolución a unirse y reforzar la oposición.
Argentina recientemente maco el comienzo de la erradicación del comunismo en Sudamérica, con Venezuela siguiéndolo cercano, hay esperanzas que otros nos acompañaran también.
Venezuela: The beginning of the end

Sunday (Dec. 5) was a long day for Venezuelans.
That day, people anxiously awaited the results of Venezuela’s National Assembly elections. Although the opposition to the ruling party had already claimed its victory, no official numbers had been published. Venezuelans were scared as they waited, terrified that the people’s will would be ignored again by the corrupt government.
Fortunately, history didn’t repeat itself.
After 12 years of government, the movement organized and directed by the late Hugo Chavez has finally experienced a defeat – an important defeat that, for many, defines the beginning of the end.
Venezuelans were loud and clear: No more of the same. Venezuelans are as ready for a change as Argentinians, who recently elected Mauricio Macri as their incoming president.
Maduro’s opposition has accomplished what wasn’t possible for many. La Mesa de la Unidad (The Table of Unity in English), the organization in Venezuela that extends to cover the country’s main opposition groups, celebrated the election and classified it as the beginning of a new Venezuela.
“Venezuela is suffering the worst economic crisis in its history – and if the country has not exploded yet, it is because of this Election Day…. We have to save Venezuela,” stated Henrique Capriles, who helps lead the opposition movement.
This is the beginning of a long journey. The negative impact of the government of Chavez and Maduro, Chavez’s personally chosen successor, on Venezuela cannot be solved with one election. It’s time for those who haven’t yet participated in the revolution to join in and make the opposition even stronger.
Argentina recently marked the beginning of the eradication of communism in South America, with Venezuela following weeks after, there’s hope for more to follow.
