Guadalupe Centers Inc. (GCI) se ha asociado con el distrito Power and Light para celebrar su fiesta del Cinco de Mayo, comenzando a las 5 p.m. el 5 de mayo en el Kansas City, Mo., distrito de espectáculos.
El evento, que costará $10 por boleto y será para el público mayor de 21 años, se llevará a cabo en la zona KC Live! Se ofrecerán varios especiales de bebida y comida. Habrá un concierto por el grupo Ozomatli de Los Angeles y Making Movies de Kansas City.
Según Rachel Waller, directora de mercadotecnia del Distrito P&L, este es el primer concierto de Cinco de Mayo organizado en colaboración con GCI.
“Habrá buena música y diversión – y este concierto será una gran manera de llegar a la comunidad que no ha visitado antes el Distrito P&L”, dijo Liz Serpa-Flook, que coordina las relaciones comunitarias. “Estamos esperando una gran participación en el evento.”
Una parte de los beneficios se destinarán a GCI.

GCI celebrating Cinco de Mayo at P&L District

Guadalupe Centers Inc. (GCI) is partnering with the Power and Light District to hold its Cinco de Mayo party, starting at 5 p.m. on May 5 in the Kansas City, Mo., entertainment district.
The event, which will be $10 per ticket and for the 21-and-over crowd, will take place in the KC Live! area. Several drink and food specials will be offered. The Los Angeles band Ozomatli and Kansas City band Making Movies will perform.
According to Rachel Waller, Power and Light District director of marketing, this is the district’s first Cinco de Mayo concert hosted in partnership with GCI.
“There will be great music and fun – and this concert will be a great way to reach out to the community who hasn’t come to the Power and Light District before,” said Liz Serpa-Flook, who coordinates community relations. “We’re expecting a great turnout for the event.”
