Las vacaciones de verano son una oportunidad para muchos adolescentes para ganar algo de dinero. La ruta tradicional es solicitar un trabajo en un restaurante o supermercado local. Sin embargo, aquí hay algunas ideas no tradicionales de cómo su hijo adolescente puede ganar algo de dinero este verano:
*Limpieza de su armario del dormitorio: Con las tendencias de la moda en constante cambio, su hijo de seguro tiene ropa que se ha puesto en más de un año. Él o ella puede vender esas prendas en tiendas de compra y venta como Plato’s Closet. Otra idea es mantener una venta de garaje. Esto también es una gran oportunidad para no sólo declutter, sino también para su hijo o hija para ganar algo de dinero.
*Pagar por trabajar en la casa: Si su hijo le gusta la comodidad de quedarse en casa y quiere ganar dinero, entonces deje que su hijo se quede en casa. ¡Pero haz que tu hijo trabaje! Si usted ha considerado pintar una habitación o mantener su jardín, haga que su adolescente repintar esa habitación o cortar el césped. Va a mantener a su adolescente ocupado y en casa – y usted no tiene que preocuparse de mantenerse al día con el trabajo de mantenimiento en el hogar.
*Trabajando para familiares y/o amigos: Hoy en día, todo el mundo conoce a alguien que dirige su propio negocio. Haciendo que su adolescente trabaje para otros puede enseñarle muchos conjuntos de habilidades – e incluso animar a su hijo a explorar el espíritu empresarial.

How to help your teen earn summer cash

For many teens, summer fun brings hot weather, barbeques and pool parties. But to some teens, summer means work, work, work.
Summer vacation is an opportunity for many teens to earn some money. The traditional route is to apply for a job at a local restaurant or grocery store. However, here are some non-traditional ideas of how your teen can make some money this summer:
*Cleaning out his or her bedroom closet: With fashion trends ever-changing, there’s bound to be clothes your teen hasn’t worn in more than a year. He or she can sell those clothes at buy-and-sell stores such as Plato’s Closet. Another idea is to hold a garage sale. This also is a great opportunity to not only declutter, but also for your son or daughter to earn some cool cash.
*Getting paid for working around the house: If your teen likes the comforts of staying at home and wants to earn money, then let your teen stay home. But make your teen work! If you’ve considered repainting a room or maintaining your yard, have your teen repaint that room or cut that lawn. It’ll keep your teen busy and at home – and you don’t have to worry about keeping up with home maintenance work.
*Working for relatives and/or friends: Nowadays, everyone knows someone who runs his or her own business. Having your teen work for others can teach your teen many skill sets – and even encourage your teen to explore entrepreneurship.
