Jessica Piedra Immigration attorney moves to new office

By Roberta Pardo
As of May 1, attorney Jessica Piedra has a new office location.
To celebrate the third anniversary of starting her own law firm, Piedra has relocated to the Rivergate Office building at 600 Broadway Blvd., Suite 250, in Kansas City, Missouri.
“We are trying to provide an even better service to our clients,” she said.
This new location has a parking lot and elevators to make it more accessible to her clients.
“It’s so everyone can be more comfortable,” Piedra said.
Piedra has almost 20 years of experience in immigration law. She worked at multiple law firms for 16 years before deciding it was time to start her own firm.
In 2016, Piedra launched her own law firm focusing on immigrant families. It was located in the Dos Mundos building on Southwest Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. Piedra thanks Clara Reyes, Dos Mundos editor and president, for the help in starting her own law firm.
“I was very grateful to her to let me get that space really quickly when I needed to; she was a big help to launching my own firm,” she said.
The Westside location helped Piedra reach a bigger audience by being in an area that is predominantly Hispanic.
The staff at Piedra’s law firm is bilingual, and all have been through the immigration process themselves. She expects the new location to improve the clients’ experience.
“For me personally, it’s a huge milestone,” she said about relocating. “I count it as a huge blessing to be able to be personally successful while able to help people.”
