Charter High School lleva a cabo feria de empleo

El 19 de noviembre, Frontier STEM High School llevo a cabo la feria de empleo de dos horas para estudiantes y la comunidad.
Mas de 24 empleadores y organizaciones del área de Kansas City participaron en el segundo año del evento en la escuela Charter. Algunos de estos incluyen Country Club Bank, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, Gould Evans Associates, the U.S. Army, Children’s Mercy Hospital, Reece Nichols, Westbrook & Co., Northtown Auto y Carrasco Hair Styling.
Otros participantes incluyen  Gallagher Risk Management & Insurance Services; Genesis Health Club; Liberty Dental; Wagstaff & Cartmell; Kansas City Power & Light; Kansas City, Kan., Public Schools; The Health & Wellness Clinic; Cook’s Collision Repair; Promise Hospital; Fogel Anderson; y the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Aproximadamente 190 estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de hablar con representantes acerca de negocios, educación, e instituciones comunitarias para empezar a planear sus futuros.


Charter high school hosts career fair

On Nov. 19, Frontier STEM High School hosted a two-hour long career fair for current students and the community.
More than 24 Kansas City area employers and organizations participated in the second-annual event at the Kansas City, Mo., charter school. They included Country Club Bank, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, Gould Evans Associates, the U.S. Army, Children’s Mercy Hospital, Reece Nichols, Westbrook & Co., Northtown Auto and Carrasco Hair Styling.
Other participants included Gallagher Risk Management & Insurance Services; Genesis Health Club; Liberty Dental; Wagstaff & Cartmell; Kansas City Power & Light; Kansas City, Kan., Public Schools; The Health & Wellness Clinic; Cook’s Collision Repair; Promise Hospital; Fogel Anderson; and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Approximately 190 students had the chance to talk to local representatives of academic, business and community institutions to start planning for their futures.
