Por ejemplo, si el animalito demuestra una luz azul en el huevo, significa que tiene miedo. Si necesita atención, mostrará una luz roja. Si muestra una luz de arcoíris, entonces el animalito está listo para nacer.
Además, para ayudar a que el animalito salga del huevo, los niños deben ayudarle frotando el cascarón. Y una vez que los hatchimal nacen, los niños pueden tratarlos como mascotas. Los hatchimals pasan por diferentes etapas de crecimiento, lo que significa que los niños tienen que cuidarlos.

Described by many people as a combination of a Furby and a Tamagotchi, the hatchimal consists of interactive creatures living inside a “magical egg.” It’s unknown what kind of creature is inside an egg until it hatches. Hatching can take between 10 and 40 minutes, depending on the creature.
The new toy has become popular among children because of its interactive possibilities. The creatures can interact with children through the egg by letting children know about their emotions with light colors. For example, if the creature displays a blue light on the egg, it means it’s scared. If it needs attention, it’ll display a red light. If it displays a rainbow light, then the creature is ready to hatch.
Moreover, to help a creature hatch, children must help the creature by rubbing the shell. And once hatchimals are born, children can treat them like pets. The hatchimals go through various stages of growth, meaning children must take care of them.
Lately, parents have vainly searched for hatchimals to buy their children. Many stores have reported being sold out of hatchimals and are trying to restock their shelves for Christmas.
When hatchimals are available, the prices for them vary. At Target, a hatchimal costs $59.90. At Walmart, it costs $48.88. Online, it can cost up to $300.
Parents who can’t find the toy for their child are advised to consider one of two options:
