NASCAR visita a Kansas Speedway este fin de semana y uno de los pilotos es de México

Daniel entró al mundo de automovilismo en el 2002 con karting, donde uno de sus rivales fue Esteban Gutiérrez (actualmente piloto F1). Después de lograr campeonatos en kartismo y participar en la NASCAR Mexico, Daniel decidió mudarse a los EE.UU. y probar su suerte en la K&N Pro Series East y, a partir del próximo año, la NASCAR Nationwide Series, segunda categoría de NASCAR.

Daniel inició el 2014 con tres victorias consecutivas (2 en la K&N Pro Series East y una en NASCAR Mexico).
Esta temporada ha logrado 4 victorias, seis top-5 y 7 top-10 en la NASCAR Mexico y dos victorias, cuatro top-5 y siete top-10 en la NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.
Actualmente está a 8 puntos del liderato en Mexico faltando tres carreras en el campeonato
Correrá 2015 con Joe Gibbs Racing en la NASCAR Nationwide Series, la segunda categoría de NASCAR

Daniel began his racing career in 2002 in go-karts where one of his rivals is current F1 driver Esteban Gutiérrez. After winning a karting championship and running in the NASCAR Mexico Toyota Series (where he won Rookie of the Year in 2010), Daniel decided to move to the US and also race full-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NASCAR’s top developmental series) as a member of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity Program with Rev Racing. Beginning next year, Daniel will race full time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, one of the most important divisions of NASCAR.

  •  Daniel began 2014 with three consecutive victories (two in the K&N Pro Series east and one in the Mexico Toyota Series)
  • He has four wins, six top fives and seven top 10s in the NASCAR Mexico Toyota Series and two wins, four top fives and seven top 10s in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East
  • He is eight points out of first place in the NASCAR Mexico series with three races remaining in the season
  • Daniel will run the 2015 season with Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
