Ayotizinapa Music and Arts Festival

Después de la desaparición de 43 estudiantes de la escuela Normal Rural de Ayotizinapa en México, una caravana de padres, profesores y familiares de estos, realizarán un tour alrededor de los Estados Unidos, para hablar y expresar en nombre de los desaparecidos. El propósito de su venida, es discutir el contexto que está detrás de este movimiento, además de compartir su dolor y buscar una manera para luchar juntos y se haga justicia.

Como parte de las actividades a realizarse para la recaudación de fondos, Una Lucha KC desea invitarlo a ser partícipe en la expo-venta que se llevará acabo en el Primer Festival de música y arte “Ayotzi Vive”, el próximo viernes 27 de febrero a las 7:00 pm. Estaremos recibiendo donaciones de distintos artistas locales, las cuales se subastarán el mismo día del evento. El monto recaudado será destinado a hacer posible el tour de la Caravana43, la cual incluirá 21 estados, 39 ciudades y 11 capitales de cada uno de los estados. Con tu ayuda podemos contribuir a su estancia en Kansas City y cubrir todos los gastos que esto genere. Los fondos sobrantes de sus gastos de viaje, se repartirán entre las familias.

After the disappearance of 43 students from the Rural School Ayotizinapa in Mexico, a caravan of parents, teachers and relatives are on a tour around the United States, to speak and express sentiments on behalf of the disappeared. The purpose of his coming is to discuss the context behind this movement, and share their pain and find a way to fight together and justice.

As part of the activities to be performed for fundraising,  Una Lucha  KC wants to invite you to partake in the event which will be held at the First Festival of Music and Art “Ayotzi Live” Friday February 27 to 7:00 pm. We will be receiving donations from various local artists, which will be auctioned on the day of the event. Proceeds will be used to make possible the Caravana43 tour, which will include 21 states, 39 cities and 11 capitals of each of the states. With your help we can contribute to your stay in Kansas City and cover all the costs that this generates. Surplus funds travel expenses shall be shared among families.
