Kansas City is undergoing a period of real artistic achievement and one of its current talent riches is in Latin music. Ten bands will combine forces into a fifteen-person super-group for a concert at Knucklehead’s Garage on Saturday, Nov. 9, as a fundraiser for 90.1 KKFI-to demonstrate the power of collaboration through several genres.
This will be a two-hour show that will serve as an opportunity to showcase some of the brightest lights in the Kansas City Latin music scene. Mundo Nouvo will serve as the “house band” and play the opening thirty minutes while contributing support to the other acts during the remainder of the show.
Each artist selected will have a member present to play selections from their repertoire with other participants. These artists, and their featured repertoire, will alternate with others in a tightly-choreographed series of smaller combos leading to a climax with every musician onstage playing together for the last thirty minutes.

La Cumbre de Música Latina de Kansas City se llevará a cabo en el Knucklehead’s Garage
Kansas City está atravesando un período de logros artísticos reales y una de sus riquezas de talento actuales es la música latina. Diez bandas combinarán fuerzas en un súper grupo de quince personas para un concierto en Knucklehead’s Garage el sábado 9 de noviembre a las csscs, como una recaudación de fondos para 90.1 KKFI, para demostrar el poder de la colaboración a través de varios géneros.
Este será un espectáculo de dos horas que servirá como una oportunidad para mostrar algunas de las luces más brillantes de la escena musical latina de Kansas City. Mundo Nouvo servirá como la “banda de la casa” y tocará los primeros treinta minutos mientras contribuye con el apoyo a los otros actos durante el resto del espectáculo.
