ReeceNichols Real Estate, the top-ranking real estate company in the Kansas City area, is launching an initiative to serve the growing Hispanic community in Kansas and Missouri.
The initiative stems from ReeceNichols’ ongoing commitment to serve, reflect and grow with Kansas City.
“We are committed to serving all members of the communities in which we operate, not only through assisting them with the home-buying and selling process, but also through education on how to become a homeowner and how to grow and protect their home and its value,” said Mike Frazier, ReeceNichols president and CEO, in a press release.
Leading the initiative is Fabian Gayosso, community affairs director. Born and raised in Mexico City, Gayosso has a bachelor’s degree in international relations and has worked in the private and public sectors. Gayosso said he and his team of bilingual agents are ready to guide Latinos during the process of finding a house and help them reach their goals of home ownership.
“As an immigrant myself, I understand the various challenges that people, regardless of their cultural, religious or socio-economic backgrounds, face outside their homeland,” he said. “I am thrilled to lead this initiative at ReeceNichols to strengthen the communities we serve.”
Gayosso said the initiative resulted from noticing the lack of informational resources in Spanish. The goal is primarily to educate people in their native language – in this case, Spanish.
“We know – and we’ve heard – that Latinos, when it comes to difficult things like this, they need to hear it (information) in their native language,” he said.
ReeceNichols hopes to continue expanding the initiative to eventually help educate and reach other minority communities in the area.

ReeceNichols lanza iniciativa para hispanos en Missouri y Kansas
ReeceNichols Real Estate, la compañía de bienes raíces de mayor rango en el área de Kansas City, está lanzando una iniciativa para servir a la creciente comunidad hispana en Kansas y Missouri.
La iniciativa nace del compromiso continuo de ReeceNichols de servir, reflejar y crecer con Kansas City.
“Estamos comprometidos a servir a todos los miembros de las comunidades en las cuales operamos, no sólo ayudándoles con el proceso de compra y venta de viviendas, sino también a través de la educación sobre cómo convertirse en propietarios y cómo crecer y proteger su hogar y su valor”, dijo Mike Frazier, presidente y CEO de ReeceNichols, en un comunicado de prensa.
Al frente de esta iniciativa esta Fabián Gayosso, director de asuntos comunitarios. Nacido y criado en la Ciudad de México, Gayosso tiene un título universitario en relaciones internacionales y ha trabajado en el sector privado y público. Gayosso dijo que su equipo de agentes bilingües y él están listos para guiar a los latinos durante el proceso de encontrar una casa y ayudarlos a alcanzar sus metas de ser propietarios de una vivienda.
“Como un inmigrante, entiendo los diferentes desafíos que las personas, independientemente de sus antecedentes culturales, religiosos o socioeconómicos, enfrentan fuera de su país de origen”, explicó. “Estoy encantado de liderar esta iniciativa de ReeceNichols para fortalecer las comunidades a las que servimos”.
Gayosso dijo que la iniciativa resultó de notar la falta de recursos informativos en español. El objetivo es principalmente educar a las personas en su idioma nativo, en este caso, el español.
“Sabemos – y hemos escuchado – que latinos, cuando se trata de temas difíciles como este, necesitan oír la información en su idioma nativo”, explicó.
ReeceNichols espera continuar expandiendo esta iniciativa para eventualmente ayudar a educar y alcanzar otras comunidades minoritarias en el área.
