Sophia celebra sus quince años en Cabo San Lucas

El 4 de junio, 200 familiares y amigos celebraron la quinceañera de Sophía Julieta Domínguez-Heithoff, residente de Kansas City, Missouri en la ciudad de Cabo San Lucas, México
El reverendo Víctor López -García celebró la misa en San José del Cabo Anuiti Mission. Cayo Domínguez-Heithoff, su hermano, fue el monaguillo. Entre los solistas estuvieron Venessa López, Tim Abrahamson, Rudy Sánchez y Juan Rangel.
Después de la ceremonia se ofreció una recepción, cena y baile en la terraza Rosmarinos en el Royale Solaris Resort en Baja California Sur. El Mariachi San Ángeles deleitó con su música a los invitados, quienes cenaron mariscos frescos y tapas mexicanas. Los regalos tradicionales una tiara, joyería, tacones y el regalo de la muñeca de Sophía de su niñez precedieron el corte del pastel de 3 leches cubierto con conchas marinas de chocolate dorado.
Entre los padrinos estuvieron Ana Valdez Juan Rangel. Entre otros padrinos estuvieron Soledad Sifuentes y Jorge Aguilar, Francisco Sifuentes, Lonnie Dinslage, Nancy y Chris González, Liz y Frank Hernández, JoAnn Heithoff, Dr. Uzziel y Adriana Pecina, e Irma Ramírez
Además otros padrinos fueron Emma y George Ramos, Jeannie y Rudolfo Sánchez, Dr. Katie Score y Janie Score, Sandra Olivas y Daniel Talavera, Mary y Robert Reyes, Dr. Mark y Kathi Heit, Marci y Ted Masters, Cindy y Scott Richey, Mylinda y Gil Scott, Patty Sullivan y Joe Eischens, Deanna Winter y Tug Newett, y Kathy y Mitch Wurzer. Sue y Luis Domínguez fueron los padrinos de honor.
Un invitado especial fue el abuelo de Sophía, Mel Heithoff de Elgin Nebraska. Los invitados también llegaron de México, California, Texas, Kansas y Missouri para acompañarla.
Sophía, estudiante de segundo año de la preparatoria Park Hill South es hija de Andrés Domínguez y Amy Heithoff-Dominguez. Sus abuelos son Mel y la fallecida Dorothy Heithoff, y los fallecidos Andrés y Julia Domínguez.

Sophia celebrated her quinceañera in Cabo San Lucas

On June 4, 200 family members and friends celebrated Kansas City, Mo., resident Sophia Julieta Dominguez-Heithoff’s quinceanera (quinceañera in Spanish) in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The Rev. Victor Lopez-Garcia celebrated the quinceanera Mass at the San Jose del Cabo Anuiti Mission. Cayo Dominguez-Heithoff, her brother, served as the altar boy. The soloists included Venessa Lopez, Tim Abrahamson, Rudy Sanchez and Juan Rangel.
A reception, dinner and dancing followed at the Rosmarinos Terrace at the Royale Solaris Resort in Baja California Sur. Mariachi San Angeles serenaded the guests, who dined on fresh seafood and Mexican tapas. The traditional gifts of a tiara, jewelry, heels and the giving away of Dominguez-Heithoff’s childhood doll preceded the cutting of the tres leches cake covered in golden chocolate seashells.
The padrinos included Ana Valdez as godmother and Juan Rangel as godfather. Other padrinos included Soledad Sifuentes and Jorge Aguilar, Francisco Sifuentes, Lonnie Dinslage, Nancy and Chris Gonzalez, Liz and Frank Hernandez, JoAnn Heithoff, Dr. Uzziel and Adriana Pecina, and Irma Ramirez.
Still other padrinos included Emma and George Ramos, Jeannie and Rudolfo Sanchez, Dr. Katie Score and Janie Score, Sandra Olivas and Daniel Talavera, Mary and Robert Reyes, Dr. Mark and Kathi Heit, Marci and Ted Masters, Cindy and Scott Richey, Mylinda and Gil Scott, Patty Sullivan and Joe Eischens, Deanna Winter and Tug Newett, and Kathy and Mitch Wurzer. Sue and Luis Dominguez were the honorary padrinos.
A special guest was Domingez-Heithoff’s grandfather, Mel Heithoff from Elgin, Neb. Guests also came from Mexico, California, Texas, Kansas and Missouri to attend.  
A sophomore at Park Hill South High School, Domingez-Heithoff is the daughter of Andres Dominguez and Amy Heithoff-Dominguez. Her grandparents are Mel and the late Dorothy Heithoff, and the late Andres and Julia Dominguez.
