Existen muchas maneras para celebrar la Pascua.
Mucha gente celebra el día como una conmemoración de la resurrección de Jesucristo asistiendo a misa y servicios religiosos, desfiles, cenas familiares o fiestas. Tal es el caso en México y otras partes de Latinoamérica.
Otros celebran la Pascua como un día no religioso, y prefieren celebrar las tradiciones asociadas con el conejito de Pascua, el cual se convirtió en parte de las costumbres de Pascua de Estados Unidos mediante la llegada de los inmigrantes alemanes. Por ejemplo, muchos padres de familia colocan dulces y regalos para sus hijos, disimulando que el conejito de Pascua se los dejó. Muchos padres también llevan a sus hijos a la búsqueda de huevos de Pascua que supuestamente el conejito de Pascua dejó en el patio o el parque local.
Sin embargo, quienes celebran la Pascua como un día festivo no religioso quizás no se den cuenta que tales ideas aparentemente laicas como el conejo de Pascua, y pintando y buscando huevitos de Pascua tienen raíces espirituales. El History Channel declara que los conejito simboliza la fertilidad y la nueva vida. Los huevos de Pascua también tienen un significado espiritual. El History Channel señala que los huevos simbolizan el surgimiento de Jesús desde la tumba y su resurrección.
Sin duda, muchos de ustedes se están preparando para celebrar la Pascua este domingo 27 de marzo. La manera en que lo celebra no importa; lo que importa es la actitud que tenga. La Pascua es un día festivo de resurrección y renacimiento así que cuando celebre la Pascua, piense que es un momento que usted puede vivir como su propia resurrección y renacimiento. Por ejemplo, utilícelo como un momento para pensar cómo puede ser una mejor persona hacia la gente que lo rodea.
Feliz Pascua, no importa cuáles tradiciones realice para celebrarlo.

There are many ways to celebrate Easter.
Many people celebrate the holiday as a commemoration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection by attending Masses and church services, parades, family dinners and/or parties. Such is the case in Mexico and other parts of Latin America.
Others celebrate Easter as a secular holiday, preferring to observe the traditions associated with the Easter Bunny, which became part of America’s Easter customs through the arrival of German immigrants. Many parents, for example, leave candy and gifts for their children, pretending the Easter Bunny has left them. Many parents also take their children hunting for Easter eggs the Easter Bunny has supposedly left in the backyard or the local park.
However, those who celebrate Easter as a secular holiday might not realize that such seemingly secular ideas as the Easter Bunny, and coloring and hunting Easter eggs have spiritual roots. The History Channel states that bunnies symbolize fertility and new life. The Easter eggs also have a spiritual meaning. The History Channel points out that the eggs symbolize Jesus’ emergence from the tomb and his resurrection.
No doubt, many of you are preparing to celebrate Easter this Sunday (March 27). How you celebrate it doesn’t matter. What matters is the mindset you have. Easter is a holiday of resurrection and rebirth. So when you celebrate Easter, think of it as a time when you can experience your own resurrection and rebirth. For example, use it as a time to think about how you can become a better person to the people who are around you.
