The Kansas City area offers various summer camps to keep children active in academics and sports. By attending a summer camp, they can learn to swim, work on science projects or develop their artistic skills.  
Here are a few area organizations that are accepting applications for camps:

El Centro
Activities: Mentoring, science projects, financial education, field trips, and cultural and arts enrichment.
Ages: N/A.
