Encuentre el vehículo adecuado para usted

Keypor Sara Charita

Find the right vehicle for you

A new vehicle is an investment – and for many people, making that investment can be intimidating.

It need not be.

Use the following tips and finding the right vehicle will be an easy task:

*Research based on what you want and what you’re willing to pay: It doesn’t matter if your vehicle is a compact car, an SUV, a crossover vehicle or a truck. What matters is that you know what you want. Once you know what you want and have established your budget, research your favorite vehicles. That will help you narrow your search down to your top picks.

*Be patient: Patience is important during the buying process.

*Be aware of dealership incentives: Dealers regularly offer good incentives and promotions to motivate you to buy their vehicles. Check with sales representatives and dealerships’ Web sites to see what kind of promotions are out there.

*Negotiate the price: Once you’re sure you’ve found the vehicle of your dreams, negotiate with the sales representative. Let him or her know you’re interested in buying, but also that finances are important to you.  Before negotiating the price, research online to see how much money people have paid for the vehicle you like. This will give you an estimate of how much you can expect to pay.

*Check for possible trade-in deals: You might be able to trade in your old vehicle as part of the payment for your new one, which can save you money. Check with the dealership and see how much money they’ll give you for it.

*Inspect the vehicle: Give it a test drive and make sure it works properly. This will give you a better sense of whether or not the vehicle is right for you.

*Review all the necessary paperwork: Don’t sign any paperwork if you don’t understand it. If you don’t understand what you’re reading because of a language barrier, ask someone who knows the language to go with you and explain to you what you’re signing.
