Volunteer Needed: Bilingual (English and Spanish) Patient Advocate 

HNC Living Foundation is looking for a spanish-speaking bilingual patient advocate volunteer to be able to help our patient department widen our reach with head and neck cancer patients across the country.  HNC Living Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (www.hncliving.org) dedicated to helping head and neck cancer patients live life fully during and after treatment by providing financial aid. Our grants fund services and programs that directly benefit head and neck cancer patients, supporting their treatment and recovery.  

Duties Include:  Returning phone calls for information, helping patients fill out applications and tracking applicant check-in calls.  Translating 

Availability Requested: A weekly check-in with HNC Living Foundation to see if any spanish-speaking patients have called or emailed that week.  Average weekly commitment is less than 1 hour and is flexible to meet volunteer’s availability.  Meetings can be done via Zoom or phone calls.
