Toda vale

Trump

Anything goes

Commentary by Dermidio Juez-Perez

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: In politics, anything goes.
As the tension increases in the races to secure the Republican and Democratic presidential nominations, the candidates will do anything to get ahead, even if it means risking their reputation or their party’s reputation. As proof, consider the latest mess involving Republican candidate Jeb Bush.
Bush’s campaign team failed to renew the rights to one of its Web site domains, www.jebbush.com. By failing to renew the rights, the domain name was back on the market for anyone to purchase.
“But who else would buy it?” you ask. The answer is in the following tweet from the most controversial presidential candidate of all: “Jeb forgot to renew the rights to his domain name for his Web site. Guess who bought the Web site? JebBush.com.”
If you guessed Donald Trump, you’re correct. Yes, if you visit JebBush.com, you’ll be redirected to DonaldJTrump.com – Trump’s official campaign Web site.
Anything goes.
