The holiday season is about to begin – and with it, the time to spread the love has come.
This season is about giving and spreading holiday cheer not only to family and friends but also to strangers. Here are a few ways you can spread the love this holiday season:
*Volunteer at a local charity: If you have some spare time this holiday season, volunteering is the perfect way to fill it. Doing so will help others in need and bring them joy.
*Send cards: It is not always possible to have face-to-face interactions with those you love. As an easy solution, send them fun holiday cards. You can include a meaningful message with them, too.
*Donate items to the homeless: For some people, the holidays are particularly difficult. Help make them a little brighter by showing the homeless some love. Take them some blankets or food.
*Tell your loved ones you love them: Often, people get caught up in their day-to-day lives and forget to remind their loved ones they love them. Do not forget. Express your love this season.
*Send a holiday care package to troops serving overseas: There are lots of organizations that do this, including Operation Gratitude.
