El 21 de marzo, Apple anunció su más reciente modelo iPhone SE en el campus de Apple en Cupertino, California.
Programado para lanzarse el jueves 31 de marzo en el mercado norteamericano, el nuevo teléfono tiene similitudes al tradicional iPhone 5s, pero tiene capacidades expandidas. El teléfono tendrá la misma cobertura de aluminio como el iPhone 5s y estará disponible en color plateado, gris, oro, y oro rosado.
“El nuevo iPhone SE es una excitante nueva idea”, se citó a Philip Schiller, vicepresidente superior de mercadeo global en un comunicado de prensa de Apple. “Empezamos con un diseño icónico y lo reinventamos desde adentro hacia afuera. El resultado es el teléfono más bello y poderoso en el mundo con una pantalla de 4 pulgadas”.
El iPhone SE posee el chip A9 de Apple y 2 gigabytes de RAM, sostiene el LTE y Wi-Fi de mayor velocidad. Además, le permite al usuario abrir aplicaciones y cargar sitios en la red más rápido que su predecesor.
Apple también ha mejorado el iPhone SE agregando una cámara de 12 Mpx -la misma tecnología que se utiliza en el iPhone 6. Sin embargo la cámara del iPhone SE apoya 4 K.
Además, el iPhone SE viene con el más reciente sistema operativo (iOS 9), iMessage, FaceTime y aplicaciones de fotografía, música y mapas y está equipado con la herramienta “Oye Siri”
Los precios para el iPhone SE empiezan en $399.

Apple announces new iPhone SE

On March 21, Apple announced its latest iPhone SE model at the Apple campus in Cupertino, Calif.
Scheduled to be launched on Thursday (March 31) in the U.S. market, the new phone looks like the traditional iPhone 5s, but has expanded capabilities. It’ll have the same aluminum body as the iPhone 5s and be available in silver, space gray, gold and rose gold.
“(The) iPhone SE is an exciting new idea,” Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, was quoted in an Apple press release as saying. “We started with a beloved, iconic design and reinvented it from the inside out. The result is the most beautiful and powerful phone with a 4-inch display in the world.”
Possessing Apple’s A9 chip and 2 gigabytes of RAM, the iPhone SE supports LTE and faster Wi-Fi. In addition, it allows the user to open apps and load Web sites faster than its predecessor.
Apple also has enhanced the iPhone SE by adding a 12-megapixel camera –the same technology that’s used in the iPhone 6. However, the iPhone SE camera supports 4K.
Moreover, the iPhone SE comes with the latest operative system (iOS 9), iMessage; FaceTime; and photo, music and map apps. And it’s equipped with the tool “Hey Siri.”
Prices for the iPhone SE start at $399.
