KC Big Picnic draws families for a fun-filled Sunday

On July 21, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art hosted its annual Kansas City’s Big Picnic.
Co-organized by KC Parks & Rec, KC’s Big Picnic is the region’s biggest picnic where families come to enjoy live music, food trucks, art activities and lawn games in the museum grounds.
This year, tens of people enjoyed the activities that also included a StoneLion Puppet Theater performance and a Plein Air “Quick Paint” contest. The event ran from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
KC’s Big Picnic is supported by the Hall Family Foundation.

KC Big Picnic atrae a las familias para un domingo lleno de diversión

El 21 de julio, el Museo de Arte Nelson-Atkins celebró su Gran Picnic anual en Kansas City.
Co-organizado por KC Parks & Rec, el Big Picnic de KC es el picnic más grande de la región, donde las familias disfrutan de música en vivo, camiones de comida, actividades artísticas y juegos de césped en los terrenos del museo.
Este año, decenas de personas disfrutaron de las actividades que también incluyeron una presentación del teatro de marionetas StoneLion y un concurso de “Pintura rápida” de Plein Air. El evento se realizó desde las 4 de la tarde. a las 8 p.m.
