What Christmas means depends on who you ask about it.
Recently, Dos Mundos asked some people what the Dec. 25 holiday means to them. Here are their answers:
“For me, Christmas is all about unity. I think that the meaning behind the celebration comes from the love everyone has for each other. I think that, for me, (it) means … being with your family, sharing who you are and erasing all the problems you may have. I spend the holidays with my family, and we enjoy each other’s company (while) having a delicious dinner.”

“For me, Christmas … (is) a time of reflection and happiness. … (At) this time, people feel closer and happy to share with each other. I think that Christmas is also about sharing blessings, good wishes and special moments that you don’t … (have) in other seasons.”

“Christmas is about love. It’s a time … (for) family union. It’s a time that represents Christ’s birth, which invites families to get together and celebrate. I think that it’s a really important time, … full of happiness and feelings. It gives you the opportunity to share with each other and appreciate those moments. I get together with my family every year. We enjoy a big dinner and each other’s company.”

Lo que significa la Navidad depende de a quién le preguntes.
Dos Mundos les preguntó recientemente a algunas personas qué significan las vacaciones para el 25 de diciembre. Aquí están sus respuestas:
“Para mí, la Navidad tiene que ver con la unidad. Creo que el significado detrás de la celebración proviene del amor que cada uno tiene por el otro. Creo que, para mí significa estar con tu familia, compartir quién eres y borrar todos los problemas que puedas tener. Paso las festividades con mi familia, y disfrutamos de la compañía del otro al mismo tiempo que tenemos una deliciosa cena”.

“Para mí, la Navidad es un tiempo de reflexión y felicidad. En esta época, las personas se sienten más cercanas y felices de compartir entre ellas. Creo que la Navidad también se trata de las bendiciones, buenos deseos y momentos especiales que no se tienen en otras temporadas”.

“La Navidad es sobre el amor. Es un momento para la unión familiar. Representa el nacimiento de Cristo, lo cual invita a las familias a reunirse y celebrar.
