Top-level entertainment will be featured through the Wyandotte County Fair, July 9-13, at the fair’s new home (13700 Polfer Rd. off of Hwy 7), just minutes north of the Providence Hospital Amphitheater.
Below is a schedule of artists performing at the fair:
Tuesday, July 9
Kansas City, Kan., native Chris Stewart kicks off the week at KFKF Night at the Fair at 5:30 p.m. on the main stage. After, at 7:45 p.m., Kerosene 6 – another local band – takes the stage. The six-member band is well known throughout the region and promises to bring a high-octane performance to the fair.
Also appearing on other stages throughout KFKF Night is the Big Dave Show and The Magic Show.
Wednesday, July 10
At 5 p.m., DJ Aaron Fries will perform on the main stage. After, The Rippers take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Fans throughout the metro know the band as one of the most exciting 60’s Tribute bands.
Appearing on other stages that night is Back Road Express and The Magic Show.
Thursday, July 11
It is Donnelly College Student and Alumni Night at the Fair, with media sponsor Reyes Media group. Main stage performances will be produced by local producer Alfredo Torres and features all local bands.
Main stage headliner DJ Luigi Franko kicks off at 5 p.m. Next up, hometown band 5-OLEA takes the stage at about 7:15 p.m. The party continues with Son Selecta, with its urban Latin sound.
Other stages will feature the Reyes Brother Band and The Magic Show.
Friday, July 12
It is Kansas City Kansas Community College Student and Alumni Night at the Fair. DJ Aaron Fries returns to the Main Stage at 5 p.m. with a Janet Jackson Tribute at 7:30 p.m.
Bringing the night to a close will be Material Girl, the premier Madonna/Lady Gaga tribute band experience. It also calls itself the best dance party cover band in the Midwest.
Other entertainment for the night is the Sully Brothers and The Magic Show.
Saturday, July 13
DJ Aaron Fries takes the Main Stage at noon. Ritch Henderson, a popular country musician who plays throughout the Midwest, appears at 3:15 p.m., and at 5 p.m. the Crossroads Youth Music Team from Dallas will bring 75 talented teenage Christian musicians blending a powerful melodic mix. Silver Streak, a great band that plays everything from rock-n-roll to country, goes on at 6:15 p.m.
Edge of Forever – A Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band brings down the house at 8:30 p.m. with a concert to the heroes of Southern rock.
Appearing on other stages throughout the evening are Stranded in the City and The Magic Show. Mud Boggers Mud Run is late Saturday afternoon.
Also, new this year is the addition of Great American Kites and Events who plan to fill the park with beautiful banners and fill the skies with the world’s largest whimsical kites on Friday night and Saturday weather permitting
Fairgoers will enjoy ongoing activities throughout the week, especially 4-H displays and animal exhibits, carnival, pig races, Market Place, Helicopter Rides, Vintage Car Show and petting zoo. The Food Fair will bring 23 mouth water vendors featuring a wide assortment of cuisine.
Tickets can be purchased for $5.00 at the main gate or online at www.wycofair.com. Children 12 and under enter for free. Parking is $5 per car.

Bandas regionales destacan el entretenimiento en la Feria del Condado de Wyandotte
Un entretenimiento de primer nivel se presentará durante la Feria del Condado de Wyandotte, del 9 al 13 de julio, en el nuevo hogar de la feria (13700 Polfer Rd. Saliendo de la Hwy 7), a sólo minutos al norte del Anfiteatro del Hospital Providence.

Martes, 9 de julio
Chris Stewart, nativo de Kansas City, Kan., comienza la semana en la Noche de KFKF en la Feria a las 5:30 p.m. en el escenario principal.
