5ta. Cena-baile de la Parroquia Nuestra Señora de la Unidad




El sábado 29 de abril se celebró la 5ta cena y baile anual de la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Unidad. El objetivo de este evento es recaudar fondos a beneficio de la parroquia .
La cena se llevó a cabo en el Centro de la comunidad de Parque  Pierson, Situado en 1800 dela calle 55th, en Kansas City Ks.
El padre Oscar Garavito y el padre Fr. Kent O’Conner fueron encargados del evento con un grupo de voluntarios como: Erik González, Martin y Victoria Jiménez, Agustín y Cuca Ramírez, Lupita y LorenaVillalobos, GenaroSanchez, María Carmona, Sara Lira, Mary Alvarez,Virginia Oropeza, Antonio Arévalo  y muchos más.
Se efectuaron varias rifas los ganadores de premio de $200 fue Ileana Sánchez el de $300 lo recibió Ricardo Villalobos y $500 fueron para Antonio Arévalo . La música estuvo a cargo del Conjunto de Topeka Picante, todos los asistentes gozaron de la cena y baile.

On Saturday, April 29, the 5th Annual dinner and dance for the Parish Our Lady of Unity, was celebrated. The purpose of this event was to raise funds to benefit the Parish.
The dinner took place in the Pierson Park Community Center, located at 1800 55th St., Kansas City KS.
Father Oscar Garavito and Fr. Kent O´Conner lead the event along with a group of volunteers who helped with the event. Those volunteers included Erik González, Martin and Victoria Jiménez, Agustín and Cuca Ramírez, Lupita  and Lorena Villalobos,GenaroSanchez, Gill Urenda, Sara Lira, Mary Alvarez, Antonio Aravelo,Virginia Oropeza , María Carmona and many other people who helped with the event.
There were also door prizes. The winner of a $200 prize was Ileana Sánchez, and the $300 winner was Ricardo Villalobos. The big prize of $500 went to Antonio Arevalo. The Topeka Picante Band provided the music, and all of the attendees enjoyed an evening of dinner and dancing.
