The City of Fountains prepares to welcome the best riders in the world for the 17th time
Kansas City prepares to welcome the best riders and the fiercest bulls of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) for the 17th consecutive year on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24 at the Sprint Center for the PBR series, ‘Unleash The Beast.’
For two nights, fans will witness the intense confrontations between the man and the beast, where eight seconds could mean victory or defeat. Exciting height-mounted riders and extraordinary crashes will leave you in awe, as the bravest riders of the PBR risk everything against animal athletes who can weigh up to 2,000 pounds, more than 10 times the weight of the fitter. The action will begin at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday and at 2:45 p.m. on Sunday.
Each of the 35 first riders competing will ride a bull in rounds 1 and 2 on Saturday and Sunday. After the second round on Sunday afternoon, the individual scores of the two rounds will be added, and the best 15 riders will advance to the next championship round for a final ride and a chance to win the title and $30,000.
Last season, Guilherme Marchi won his fourth victory at the City of Fountains. He used a perfect 3-for-3 performance to seal his first win of the season. The most winning driver in Kansas City climbed to seventh place in the PBR world rankings with the victory.
In 2019, current world champion Kaique Pacheco will be in Kansas City. Pacheco will ride with the former world champions, Jess Lockwood (2017), Cooper Davis (2016), Silvano Alves (2011, 2012, 2014) and J. B. Mauney (2013, 2015).
Mexican rider Luis Gerardo Escobedo, from Coahuila, will participate this year. He has won several professional rodeos from Mexico and in 2019 he had the honor of representing Mexico in the PBR 2019 World Cup held at the Dallas Cowboys stadium.
At only 23, the Coahuila rider has expressed the honor he felt to be able to represent Mexico in the selection of assemblers.

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Kansas City se prepara para recibir a los mejores jinetes y los toros más feroces de PBR (Professional Bull Riders) por 17º año consecutivo el sábado y el domingo, del 23 al 24 de marzo en el Sprint Center para la serie PBR ‘Unleash The Beast’.
Durante dos noches, los fanáticos serán testigos de los intensos enfrentamientos entre el hombre y la bestia, donde 8 segundos pueden significar la victoria o la derrota de cada oponente. Las emocionantes montadas en altura y los extraordinarios accidentes te dejarán asombrado, ya que los vaqueros más valientes de la PBR lo arriesgan todo contra monstruos animales atletas que pueden pesar hasta 2,000 libras, más de 10 veces el peso que el montador. La acción comenzará a las 6:45 p.m. el sábado y a las 2:45 p.m. el domingo.
Cada uno de los 35 primeros jinetes que compiten montaran un toro en las rondas 1 y 2 el sábado y el domingo. Después de la segunda ronda el domingo por la tarde, los puntajes individuales de dos rondas de los vaqueros se totalizarán, y los 15 mejores pilotos avanzarán a la ronda de campeonato para una montada más y una oportunidad al título del evento para ganar $30,000.

Con tan sólo 23 años, el jinete de Coahuila ha expresado el honor que sintió al poder representar a México en la selección de montadores.
“Sólo nosotros entendemos cómo es esto de montar”, dijo.
