The Kansas City Renaissance Festival is about to receive a cinematic treatment.
As the Radford Media Group stated Monday (Sept. 11) in a news release, Barley Moon Productions LLC and One Truck Productions LLC are preparing to film the comedy “Rennie” during the annual festival, which opened Sept. 2 and will run on weekends and Columbus Day (Oct. 9) through Oct. 15.
Radford Media Group also stated that Barley Moon and One Truck are offering a chance for 16 people to be in the film. Auditions are scheduled for 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m. on festival days through Sept. 30 at the audition booth, located by the King’s Gate entrance.
Those selected will be contacted Sept. 30 and must be ready for filming by 9:30 a.m. Oct. 1, according to the news release.
Kansas City Renaissance Festival hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 9, rain or shine. The festival grounds are at 633 N. 130th St. in Bonner Springs, Kansas.

El Festival del Renacimiento de Kansas City está a punto de recibir un tratamiento cinematográfico.
Como indicó Radford Media Group el lunes (11 de septiembre) en un comunicado de prensa, Barley Moon Productions LLC y One Truck Productions LLC se están preparando para filmar la comedia “Rennie” durante el festival anual, que se inauguró el 2 de septiembre y se realizará los fines de semana y el Día de la Raza (del 9 de octubre) hasta el 15 de octubre.
Radford Media Group también declaró que Barley Moon y One Truck ofrecen la oportunidad de que 16 personas participen en la película. Las audiciones están programadas de 9:30 a.m. a 7 p.m. los días del festival hasta el 30 de septiembre en la cabina de audiciones, ubicada junto a la entrada de King’s Gate.
Los seleccionados serán contactados el 30 de septiembre y deberán estar listos para filmar a las 9:30 a.m. del 1 de octubre, según el comunicado de prensa.
